Making a “Welcome” page for your Facebook business page

Facebook has become the hot new place to market your business. Once you set up your business page, you can use it as a forum to quickly send out updates, start discussions, even post reviews of your product or service. That’s what I do over at the Sirona Springs Facebook page. If you haven’t “Liked” it yet, head over and check it out.

The first thing you’ll see is my new “Welcome” page. This shows up only for Facebook members who have not “Liked” Sirona Springs yet. It’s a little summary of who we are and what we do at the Facebook page. And I made it myself! With a little help from a great tutorial recently posted on Problogger by Darren Rowse. He explains every step along the way and made it sound so easy I had to give it a go. I’m really happy with it!

But tell me what YOU think. Click over to the new Welcome page and then leave a comment on our wall. Do you think it is, in fact, welcoming? Does it make you want to find out more? By the way, if you have already “Liked” us you can leave a comment, too. Just click on the Welcome tab on our Facebook Wall at any time to see the new page that I designed.
